Band Regroup for Big Night!

“We’ve got spirit, yes, we do. We’ve got spirit how about you?” This was just one of the old cheers that rocked the stands at Versailles football games thirty plus years ago. Then the band would break into “The Horse” or some other song to get the crowd fired up. Times have changed but for one night those old days can rock again. Kevin Taylor, Versailles High School’s current band director along with your Alumni Board urge you to dust off those old instruments, break out those batons and flags and let’s party like its 1999!

All band alums are invited to join our current band in the stands as we welcome the Graham Falcons to Tiger Town for the first home football game of the season on Friday September 3, 2010 and the kick off for the All Class Reunion 2010 edition.

You say you don’t remember the songs? That’s why a special rehearsal will be held in the new band room at Versailles High School on September 2, at 7:00p.m. You can enter through door number 10. If you need an instrument there are some at the school to borrow. So this is the invite and no excuses like you gave Mr. Cooper why your Government homework wasn’t done! Be there and let’s rock the stands with Tiger pride!
